Getting your Care Hive profile set up!

Hi everyone. I trust you’re enjoying a great week.

This blog is for those of you who aren’t so confident with technology.  I’m going to walk you through how to get started using Care Hive, by downloading the Care Hive App and getting your profile set up. The good news is that this is simple and straightforward to do and will only take you 15 minutes tops!  

So let’s get started!

The Care Hive Mobile Application is available to download for your mobile phone, both iPhone and Android devices, via the App Store and Google Play respectively. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the App to your mobile phone, you will be prompted to register with Care Hive and create your profile.

Creating your profile is a simple but important step whether you are looking to Find Support or Provide Support.  The effort you put into your profile will be rewarded with better match results.

If you’re looking to Find Support

If you’re looking to Find Support you can sign-up with an email address, use your phone number or connect via Facebook or Google. When signing up, we’ll ask you for a few basic details, a profile picture, similar to what you’d do with Facebook, and we’ll prompt you to set your personal preferences and share a bit about yourself.  

If you are signing up to find services for a family member or friend they can have their own profile.

To complete the sign-up process, you will be prompted to add credit or debit card details to pay for the services you book via Care Hive. You will be pleased to know that fees are not charged against your card until a service has been delivered.  

Once you’ve set up your profile, you can start searching for care and support services on Care Hive and begin connecting with quality service providers in your area who match your needs, preferences and interests.

If you’re looking to Provide Services 

If you’re a service provider we have a quick 5 step sign-up to capture the important things about your organisation and your individual service delivery staff.  Each service provider on Care Hive must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), relevant insurances and qualifications depending on the services you’re providing. Similarly, each individual staff member for each organisation on Care Hive can optimise their personal profile to tell the Care Hive marketplace a story about who they are, including their skills, qualifications, interests & more.

Once we’ve ticked those boxes, we will also ask you to tell us about your service location/s, the services you offer, your availability and your fee rates. 

And that’s it! 

We’ve built Care Hive to be user-friendly without compromising the platform’s functionality or diminishing the user experience. We think we’ve done a good job, but we will continue to upgrade and improve Care Hive and we’re excited to have you all along for the journey.
